Screening for Plugiarism

All manuscripts submitted to de Partial Journal are subject to a similarity check using Turnitin. Any manuscript found to involve plagiarism or self-plagiarism will be automatically rejected during the editorial process.

de Partial Journal upholds strict academic integrity standards and expects all authors to adhere to globally accepted ethical norms, especially concerning the originality of academic work.

Plagiarism refers to the act of presenting ideas, data, or text from external sources without proper acknowledgment. This includes directly copying, paraphrasing, or adapting content from previously published works without sufficient citation. Whether intentional or not, plagiarism is considered a serious breach of publication ethics and is strictly prohibited.

Citations must be included when authors refer to specific factual details (such as names, dates, places, or statistics) sourced from a particular reference. Exceptions are only made for widely known facts or common knowledge (e.g., "Indonesia is the largest archipelagic country in the world").

When building upon the ideas or theoretical frameworks proposed by other researchers, authors are required to cite the original source, even if the idea has been expanded or modified. Proper citation is a necessary academic practice to maintain transparency and credit the intellectual property of others.

In instances where exact phrases, sentences, or terminology from other works are used, authors must include quotation marks along with the corresponding citation. The use of four or more identical words from a source without quotation marks is considered a form of plagiarism, even if the source is cited.

de Partial Journal takes ethical misconduct seriously. The editorial board reserves the right to revoke publication decisions or retract articles found to violate the plagiarism policy, at any stage of the publication process.
