Author Guidelines

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously in any scientific journal, are not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any media during the review process unless the authors have officially withdrawn the manuscripts from Culture, Art, and Tourism: Jurnal Budaya, Seni, dan Pariwisata.

  2. This commitment must be stated in a Statement of Originality and Copyright Release Form (Form A).

  3. Culture, Art, and Tourism: Jurnal Budaya, Seni, dan Pariwisata uses Similarity Check powered by Turnitin to prevent any suspected plagiarism in the manuscripts.

  4. Manuscripts submitted must cover research topics that have no conflict with ethical research standards.

  5. The journal is published twice a year (June and December).

MANUSCRIPT FILE

  • Language: Manuscripts are written in English using standard scientific usage. Authors whose first language is not English are strongly advised to consult an English editing service before submitting to Culture, Art, and Tourism: Jurnal Budaya, Seni, dan Pariwisata.

  • Software: Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx), except for Graphs (Microsoft Excel) and Figures (JPEG or PDF format).

  • Typography: Manuscripts should be typed using Cambria fonts at 11 points (Note: Corrected from 1 point to 11 points for standard readability).

  • Layout: * Length: Approximately 9 to 15 pages, A4 paper format.

    • Margins: Top 2.5 cm; Left 2.5 cm; Right 2 cm; Bottom 2 cm.

    • Formatting: Single columns, justified, single-spaced.

  • Structure: The manuscript comprises main headings: Introduction; Method; Results and Discussion; Conclusion and Suggestions; Acknowledgment; References.

  • Title: Must be as brief as possible and represent the content of the manuscript.

  • Authorship: Authors' names are written below the title, followed by affiliation and e-mail addresses.

  • Abstract: Written in English as a narrative representation of the manuscript, comprising aims/objectives, methods, and findings of the research.

  • Reporting Standards: Manuscripts may follow recognized reporting guidelines appropriate for the study design (e.g., SRQR for qualitative studies, PRISMA for reviews, etc.).

  • Keywords: 3–5 words or phrases that are important, specific, or representative of the article.

  • Citation Style: APA 7th edition.

  • References: Sources should be in the form of journals and non-journals published within the last six years.

  • Template: The manuscript must be written following the Culture, Art, and Tourism: Jurnal Budaya, Seni, dan Pariwisata template.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

  1. Online Submission: Manuscripts must be sent to the journal system via online submission. Authors must create an account in the Open Journal System (OJS) [Click REGISTER if you do not have an account, or LOG IN if you already have one].

  2. Metadata Entry: All authors' names and identities must be completely embedded in the metadata form: email, affiliation, and a short biography for each author (in the 'Bio Statement' column).

  3. Multiple Authors: If the manuscript has two or more authors, click 'Add Author' during the 'ENTER METADATA' step to enter each author's data.

  4. Communication: All correspondence, information, and decisions regarding submitted manuscripts are conducted through the email addresses provided in the manuscript and/or the submission system. Authors can check the status of their manuscript by logging into the OJS.
